
Dance performance in the Sophinesäle of Berlin, about four ways of looking on death. On stage with the amazing dance performers Claire Vivianne Sobottka, Stina Fors and Moss Beynon Juckes, Elena Kakaliagou and Abigail Sanders playing french horn and Stellan Veloce and Kaj Duncan David on stage and composing.

Inspired by the play of Jean Paul Sartre “The Condemned of Altona”, the four artists attempt a reapproach, each with her own art and technique, to the fluidity of time and the irrationality of nationalism within this fluidity.Taking the image of crabs as judges of Nazi Germany, Kakaliagou, Manta, and Philippou extended the idea of responsibility, to all mankind, from then until now and produced a performance where all three arts are complementary and equal. The performance was showen on the international women´s day after a full week residency in KET Athens.>

Performance about doubts and the human side of a performer/artist! Doubts in music, in steps we take in life, doubts in choices, various meanings of doubts. Sopranist Annika Fuhrmann and Elena Kakaliagou invited composers to write about their own doubts for this particular duo and together with opera director Jaakko Nousiainen, put together a show played in Helsinki.

Together with: Johanna Bantzer, Ursula Werner, Nico van Wersch, Susanne Fröhlich, Susanne Kabalan, Thomsen Slowey Merkel, Patrick Sepec and Jan Terstegen. An audiovisual essay by Floros Floridis and Jeannine Meerapfel. A film of one hour on AI, accompagned on stage by Floros Floridis and Elena Kakaliagou /free improvisation and dancecompagny Rubato. Performed twice in the Academy of Arts in Berlin.

The collaboration with Finnish-Swedish dancer Riikka Teresa Innanen, called as a duo „Piece of Ginger“, kept exploring the topic of improvisation in the languages of music and dance, finding common ground, differences and creating a language that connects.

Performance based on thoughts about being lost and having limited sight of life, premiered in Kokoteatteri in Helsinki with the support of Sibelius Academy. Musicians Marika Thinggaard Andersen (clarinets/ composition), Elena Kakaliagou and Johannes Smed (electric guitar) together with dancer and video artist Riika Teresa Innanen, created a show of music, dance, words and light.
